Hanoi: North Vietnam’s capital and new industrial centre
Hanoi offers lower wages and production costs and more vacant land than Hochiminh City. With the coming Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the FTA agreements signed with many countries, Vietnam encourages many local and international textile and garment companies to establish a new production base in Hanoi.

Strong growth of the textile and garment industry
With the strong growth of the textile & garment industry, Vietnam's garment export target has increased to USD 40 - 50 billion by 2020 (the previous target was USD 20-25 billion). Vietnam’s government is setting up more and more industrial parks for garment, textile and garment parts production to meet the increasing demand of orders from overseas.

Due to strong response to the HanoiTex 2016, most of the spaces in the main hall are already sold/reserved. The organizers have decided to expand the show by building an additional exhibition hall to accommodate more exhibitors.
